We take great care in preparing and delivering each order. Because many of our pieces are custom-made, one-of-a-kind, or require specialized handling, shipping timelines and methods vary by item type.
Please review the details below prior to purchase.
Order Processing

In-stock small items typically ship within 3–7 business days.

Custom furniture and made-to-order items will ship according to the lead time indicated on the product page.

One-of-a-kind antiques and large furniture pieces require handling coordination and may take additional time to prepare and ship.
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information (if applicable).
Shipping Methods
We ship via UPS and uShip White Glove In-Home Delivery, depending on the size and nature of the item.
UPS Shipping (Small & Parcel Items)

What to expect:

Tracking information will be provided once your order ships.

Delivery occurs curbside or to your building’s designated package area.

Signature may be required for higher-value items.
Please inspect your package upon delivery. If there is visible damage to the exterior, photograph it before opening.
uShip White Glove In-Home Delivery (Furniture & Oversized Items)
Used for:

Large furniture

Custom upholstered pieces

Antiques

Oversized or fragile items requiring special handling
This service includes:

In-home delivery

Placement in the room of your choice

Communication & Tracking
We will notify you:

When an estimated shipping date has been scheduled

When the item has been picked up from our facility

When the item is expected to arrive at your home
A delivery window will be coordinated directly with you by Galerie Esme and the carrier. Please ensure someone 18 years or older is present to receive and inspect the item at delivery.
Delivery Requirements & Access
It is the customer’s responsibility to:

Ensure the item will fit through doorways, stairwells, elevators, and hallways

Confirm building delivery policies (COAs, service elevators, insurance requirements, etc.)

Provide accurate contact and delivery information
Additional fees resulting from failed delivery attempts, storage, redelivery, or special access requirements may be the responsibility of the customer.
Inspecting Your Delivery
All furniture and large items must be inspected at the time of delivery.
If damage is present:

Note the damage on the delivery receipt

Take clear photographs
-
Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
Failure to document damage at delivery may limit our ability to file a claim with the carrier.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout or quoted separately for oversized items. White Glove delivery fees vary based on distance, size, and handling requirements.

Delays & Transit Times
While we work closely with our carriers, transit times are estimates and may be affected by weather, holidays, or carrier delays.
We are not responsible for delays once an item has left our facility, but we will assist in tracking and communication whenever possible.
